This armor will help your teammates last a bit longer in a fire fight so Doc can get over there and heal them. In order for Doc to be as effective as possible, he should generally be coupled with Rook for the additional armor he provides. That extra 25 points of health can mean the difference between life and death or between winning and losing a round. The big advantage here is that he can do it from a distance since he’s using a stim pistol, and when Doc brings you back from the brink of death, you come back with 75 health instead of the normal 50 health.
His unique gadget is the MPD-0 Stim Pistol which allows him to get teammates back up after they’ve been downed. If Doc’s name wasn’t explanatory enough, he is the field medic in Rainbow Six Siege.
