Mandalorians value family above all else, and Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club has built on that value by giving back to local communities through charity and volunteer work. Mandalorians are known for their high technology, traditional armor style, and ruthlessness in battle. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire is a 1996 multimedia project created by Lucasfilm.The idea was to create a story set between the films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and to explore all commercial possibilities of a full motion picture release without actually making a film.The venture was intended to reinvigorate interest in the franchise ahead of the theatrical Special. Mandalorians can be found in almost every combat-oriented job in the Star Wars™ universe: Bounty Hunters, Mercenaries, and Bodyguards are but a few of the professions Mandalorians are famous for. Sometimes famous, many times infamous, their allegiance is often times acquired by the highest bidder. Mandalorians are the most notable warrior culture within the Star Wars™ universe. It’s very uncommon that two Mandalorian Mercs member’s costumes look identical, but they all share the same traditional characteristics of Mandalorian armor/culture. Our costumes strive to represent Mandalorian characters in the highest caliber of quality and realism while also allowing a great deal of creativity and individualism. The history of Mandalorian armor spans over 8,000 years in the Star Wars™ canon and “Legends” timelines, costumes you’ll find in the Mandalorian Mercs are created based on references found in these timelines.
